Regenerative Ventures was established in 1995, with its green building strategic consulting firm known as WorldBuild. The company was one of the first sustainable building advisers in the world. It was formed after David Gottfried's founding of the U.S. Green Building Council in 1993. He then invented the World Green Building Council in 1998 and launched it in 2002 with numerous countries as founding members.
